Definition :
Sanda is a modern Chinese combat sport combining striking, kicking, and wrestling techniques, derived from traditional Kung Fu. It is both a competitive sport and practical self-defense system.

History :
Developed in the late 20th century by the Chinese military for hand-to-hand combat and later formalized as a sport, Sanda blends traditional Kung Fu with modern competitive rules.
